Last fall the new IIDA Georgia board of directors decided that their existing website didn’t promote their local brand, allow for easy content creation, or encourage individuals to sign up & pay for programs and events.  In addition, they wanted to offer their partners additional benefits and visibility through their website. They wanted to “get into the future” with a new website that would accomplish their yearly goals. The new WordPress website, launched in January 2010 gave them all they wished for plus much more.

2009-2010 IIDA Georgia president, Liset Robinson, said “Our new WordPress website, greatly increased recipient/list options at no additional cost and virtually unlimited options for integration of existing and new mailing lists. In short, maximizing both costs and effectiveness in keeping our members, our partners, and our community better informed and aware of what IIDA Georgia has to offer.” www.iidageorgia.org

Veins is a wonderful new book of poems from Larry Johnson. The author had very specific ideas about the feel of the cover and wanted to incorporate elements that suggested veins, such as leaves and marble. The color green was a preferred color choice and so the final cover design carried much of the authors personal tastes.
